			<title><![CDATA[Convicted Felon Arrested For Having A Gun]]></title>
			<description><![CDATA[
	24-year old Jesse Seth Diaz of Bartlesville appeared in a Washington County Courtroom charged with possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction.&amp;nbsp;
	
	According to a court document, officers found in Diaz possession a 9mm handgun.&amp;nbsp; Diaz was a passenger inside a car.&amp;nbsp; Court records indicate that Diaz was convicted in Kay County for manufacturing meth, and second degree burglary.&amp;nbsp; Diaz was convicted in Washington for assault and battery on a police officer, and convicted in Tulsa County for assault and battery on a police officer.
	
	Diaz next court date is December 16th.&amp;nbsp; Bond was set at $50,000.

			<title><![CDATA[Water Line Replacement Project]]></title>
			<description><![CDATA[
	City of Bartlesville crews have begun construction on a water line replacement project in the downtown area.

	Water Utilities Director Terry Lauritsen says that work started today to replace a water line on 11th Street between Cherokee Avenue and Shawnee Avenue, and on Dewey Avenue between Ninth Street and 11th Street.

	Motorists should expect limited access in the area, with lane closures necessary intermittently throughout the project. The project will continue for around two to three months.&amp;nbsp;

			<title><![CDATA[State Superintendent To Visit Tulsa]]></title>
			<description><![CDATA[
	State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Joy Hofmeister will host a town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. on November 15, at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Tulsa. Hofmeister plans to hear Oklahomans&amp;rsquo; thoughts on how to strengthen public education and refocus on meeting the needs of individual students.

	The meeting&amp;nbsp;will be the&amp;nbsp;fourth in a series&amp;nbsp;of one-hour town halls enabling the Oklahoma State Department of Education to gather input as the agency creates a comprehensive state plan to bolster academic performance for all students and reduce barriers that hold many kids back. OSDE began the town hall series in Duncan and Ada, where more than 400 people attended.&amp;nbsp;Future town hall stops include Enid, Yukon and Muskogee.

	Deborah Gist, superintendent of&amp;nbsp;Tulsa Public Schools,&amp;nbsp;will introduce Hofmeister on Tuesday.

	OSDE has received support from the community for the event, including promotional efforts by Tulsa Public Schools, Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce, surrounding school districts and&amp;nbsp;local parent-teacher organizations.

			<description><![CDATA[
	Washington County let their voices be heard in the nation when they voted for their then, presidential hopeful.

	Donald J. Trump won big in Washington County with 71.19 percent of the votes. Trump received 15,810 votes. In comparison, Hillary Clinton only received 5,047 votes, and Gary Johnson only received 1,351 votes.

	Oklahoma&amp;rsquo;s electoral votes went to Trump, helping him win the presidency with 279 votes over Clinton&amp;rsquo;s 228.&amp;nbsp;

			<title><![CDATA[Washington County And The State Senators]]></title>
			<description><![CDATA[
	Washington County had an influence on the State Senator and State Representative races. Across the County, residents could vote for the United States Senator, State Senator District 29, and State Representative District 10.

	In the State Senator District 29 race, Republican Julie Daniels beat out Robert Jobe by 68.14 percent of the votes. Daniels had 15,011 votes in Washington County, compared to Jobe&amp;rsquo;s 7,019.

	For State Representative District 10, Republican Travis Dunlap beat out Eric Epperson by 75.34 percent of the vote. Dunlap had 7,439 votes in Washington County, compared to Epperson&amp;rsquo;s 2,435.

	For the United States Senator, James Lankford won in with a large margin in Washington County. Lankford had 74.14 percent of the vote with 16,433 votes. The next closest was Mike Workman with 4,221 votes which equals out to 19.04 percent.&amp;nbsp;

			<title><![CDATA[Washington County And The City Council]]></title>
			<description><![CDATA[
	The City of Bartlesville was heavily affected by voting from Washington County. Ward 3 had four precincts voting in Washington County, and Ward 4 had five precincts voting.

	For Councilmember Ward 3 for the City of Bartlesville, James S. Curd JR. beat current Mayor Tom Gorman. Curd had 55.48 percent of the vote, with a 1,474 vote total. Gorman had 1,183 total votes, which equals out to 44.52 percent.

	For Councilmember Ward 4 for the City of Bartlesville, Alan Gentges edged out Joel Rabin with 53.7 percent of the votes. Gentges had 1,096 votes while Rabin only had 945. However, even though Rabin&amp;rsquo;s name was on the ballot, Rabin had dropped out of the race months prior.&amp;nbsp;

	In the State of Oklahoma, seven seats on state level courts were up for retention election. If voted to be retained, a judge can serve for a full six-year term or the unexpired remainder of his or her predecessor&amp;#39;s term.

			<title><![CDATA[Zulpo Arrested On Outstanding Warrants]]></title>
			<description><![CDATA[
	A $500,000 bond has been set for a Bartlesville man who allegedly caught with illegal drugs.&amp;nbsp; 29-year old Daniel Wayne Zulpo is charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.&amp;nbsp; Zulpo was also picked up on two outstanding warrants for eluding, running a road block, and drug violations.
	
	Bartlesville police conducted surveillance at the suspect&amp;#39;s home located in the 100 block of North Mockingbird.&amp;nbsp; According to a court affidavit, officers noticed a Hyundia leaving the scene, followed the vehicle, and conducted a traffic stop.&amp;nbsp; Four people were inside the vehicle and the police saw Zulpo in the passenger&amp;#39;s seat.&amp;nbsp; Reportedly, officers found marijuana and a large amount of cash.&amp;nbsp;
	
	Zulpo&amp;#39;s next court date is December 16th.

			<title><![CDATA[Bartlesville Man Arrested For Drug Violations]]></title>
			<description><![CDATA[
	A routine traffic violation turned into a drug bust for a Bartlesville man.&amp;nbsp; 36-year old Derek Nicholas Bock is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and failed to stop at a stop sign.&amp;nbsp; Bartlesville police conducted a traffic stop on Frank Phillips Blvd.&amp;nbsp; to a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign.
	
	According to a court affidavit, officers searched the vehicle and found a needle containing a clear liquid substance.&amp;nbsp; Reportedly, Bock gave the police a bag of meth.
	
	Bock&amp;#39;s next court date is December 16th.&amp;nbsp; Bond was set at $50,000.

			<title><![CDATA[Washington County And The State Questions]]></title>
			<description><![CDATA[
	With Election Day behind Oklahomans, Washington County had its hand in deciding on several key issues in the state of Oklahoma.

	In regards to State Question 776, which dealt with execution methods becoming permanent in Oklahoma, Washington county voted yes in favor by a huge margin of 71.05 percent, which equaled out to 15, 552 votes for compared to the 6,336 against. It was the largest margin of victory for a State Question in Washington County.

	State Question 777, labeled as the &amp;ldquo;Right to Farm&amp;rdquo; ballot, was voted against by 57.91 percent of the votes against the proposal. State Question 779, the education sales tax that would go to teacher pay raise, and State Question 790, the religion and state question, were also both voted against with 59.17 percent and 54.15 percent of the votes against the proposals, respectively.

	State Questions 780 and 781, dealing with criminal sentencing and rehabilitation, both passed with the closest of margins in Washington County. SQ 780 passed with 11,708 votes for the proposal compared to the 10,314 against. SQ 781 passed with 11,482 votes for the proposal compared to the 10,331 against.

	State Question 792, which dealt with strong beer and wine sales, passed with 59.14 percent of the votes which is equal to 13,052 votes for the proposal. 9,019 voted no against SQ 792.&amp;nbsp;
