Dewey And Nowata Prepare For Playoffs

Both the Dewey Bulldoggers and the Nowata Ironmen are preparing for tomorrow night's playoffs.
Dewey is in the playoffs for the first time since 2013 as they will play at Cushing. The Doggers are 5-4 overall and coming off losing their last two games, including a 48-45 overtime loss at Sperry. The Doggers defense struggled the past two games giving up 100 points. Dewey head coach Tyler Caid said the defense will have to step up.
Kickoff between the Doggers and the Tigers is set for 7 o'clock tomorrow evening. You can hear the game on KWON 1400AM and 93.3FM.
Meanwhile, the Ironmen will be making its fifth straight playoff appearance as they will travel to Tulsa to take on Holland Hall Dutch. Nowata is coming off winning their last two games, including a 44-8 win over Oklahoma Union. Ironmen head coach Cory James said that the seniors will have to show some leadership.
Kickoff between the Ironmen and the Dutch is set for 7:30 tomorrow evening. You can hear the game on KRIG 104.9 FM starting at 7 o'clock.
