Washington County And The State Senators

Washington County had an influence on the State Senator and State Representative races. Across the County, residents could vote for the United States Senator, State Senator District 29, and State Representative District 10.
In the State Senator District 29 race, Republican Julie Daniels beat out Robert Jobe by 68.14 percent of the votes. Daniels had 15,011 votes in Washington County, compared to Jobe’s 7,019.
For State Representative District 10, Republican Travis Dunlap beat out Eric Epperson by 75.34 percent of the vote. Dunlap had 7,439 votes in Washington County, compared to Epperson’s 2,435.
For the United States Senator, James Lankford won in with a large margin in Washington County. Lankford had 74.14 percent of the vote with 16,433 votes. The next closest was Mike Workman with 4,221 votes which equals out to 19.04 percent.
